liittyvät vetovoimaiseen kaupunkitilaan? Millä keinoin pyöräilyä ja kävelyä on
onnistuttu edistämään Euroopan kaupungeissa? Muun muassa näihin kysymyksiin
saadaan vastauksia Jalka rattaalla – Pyöräilyn ja kävelyn Eurooppa -seminaarissa
16.9.2011 kello 12–16 Helsingin kaupungintalon juhlasalissa, Pohjoisesplanadi
11–13. Seminaari on osa kansainvälisen Liikkujan viikon
ohjelmaa.<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></SPAN></P>

tunnettuja kaupunkisuunnittelun ja pyöräilyn asiantuntijoita, kuten
tanskalaisarkkitehti <EM>Lars Gemzøe</EM>, joka on konsultoinut kaupunkeja
ympäri maailmaa julkisen tilan viihtyisyydestä, sekä Euroopan pyöräilyjärjestön
puheenjohtaja <EM>Manfred Neun</EM>. He kertovat, millaisessa kaupungissa
ihmiset viihtyvät ja miksi pyöräilyä kannattaa
edistää.<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></SPAN></P>

myös, mitkä ovat olleet avainasiat Belgian Gentin vetovoimaisen keskustan
toteuttamisessa ja millä keinoin Helsinki on suunnitellut lisäävänsä pyöräilyn
suosiota. Lisäksi tilaisuudessa julkistetaan Pykälä-tutkimusprojektin kirja
Parhaat eurooppalaiset käytännöt pyöräilyn ja kävelyn edistämisessä.<SPAN
